Built just after the great War, Margaret house served as residence to the Swedish Ambassador and was suitably finished to serve his official needs.
With sufficient space, the home has accordingly been adapted to a warm comfortable suburban B&B where you can experience true South African hospitality and feel as relaxed as you do in your own home. Assured of a friendly reception, Margaret house has become a firm favourite with many South African visitors as well as corporate guests and tourists to the Mother City.
The superb location is ideally situated between the exciting attractions of Cape Town itself only minutes away and the beauty and tranquillity of the famous winelands with their majestic mountain surrounds. Removed from the city congestion, to the East brings one to the cool Atlantic Ocean and to the West the warmer currents of the Indian Ocean each with exquisite beaches and scenery.
Margaret and Jack, your hosts, offer individual consideration with interest and concern for their guests every requirement who can be assured of a delightful, relaxed time, from the effortless access to the throb and exhilaration of city life, to a gentle stroll through the attractive leafy suburb to the nearby village centre which offers easy stress free shopping, banking and places to dine.
